Fetegue Kone started his career in 2002 as an operations engineer in Ivory Coast. He holds a master degree in petroleum engineering. He worked in several countries such as Tunisia, Malta, Congo, Brazil, South Korea, and Singapore.

During this period, he served as Rig Manager, Project Manager, Maintenance Engineer , Assistant Rig Manager and operations Engineer. He has contributed to four successfull operations start up and two outstanding high profile projects. His last achievement was to bring a 2nd generation rig in Brazil and passed successfully the navy and Ibama inspections and set up an outstanding operation excellence ( 0.2% downtime and one year without First aid case).

Fetegue is currently preparing a start up for a newly delivered 6th generation drillship for BP. He has joined this project in June 2011 and has contributed to the commissionning and the delivery. On his current role, his main objective is to prepare the integrated acceptance tests and get the rig in payroll.
